The Team

All our Podiatrists are University & NHS trained and have many years of experience treating the local community.

Jane has had a very varied career to say the least! You may have heard Jane on the air when she worked for 2CR FM & Classic Gold 828 - starting out as many do in Hospital Radio. She has a passion for customer service and previously worked at Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa (www.chewtonglen.com) organising Conferences when this beautiful retreat was under the ownership of Mr & Mrs Skan.

Jane gained her degree from the University of Southampton in 2005 gaining a 2:1 following her three years of study. Jane has worked for the NHS both in Oxfordshire and Dorset and enjoyed the challenge of working with high risk patients which included rotations into specialist Diabetic Foot Clinics. Jane is a passionate about podiatry, and enjoys both the challenges and variety of cases that we see. Jane always aims to provide the highest level of care to her patients and has enjoyed getting to know her patients and their families personally over the years.

Jane and her partner Christopher (our Operations Manager) are both passionate about sailing. In her youth, Jane was a competitive Ballroom and Latin American dancer and was a member of the Channel Counties Amateur Dancers Association. Jane and Chris also enjoy walking their dogs and are avid England Rugby supporters.

Lauren originally hails from bonny Scotland and graduated in 2020 from Glasgow Caledonian University achieving a 2:1 Honours Degree in Podiatry.

Lauren’s interest in Podiatry came from being referred to see a Podiatrist following a minor injury sustained during sporting activities. For seven years Lauren worked as a lifeguard and was a keen athlete, having competed in many heptathlons. This experience, coupled with her sporting background, has given Lauren a valuable insight into the stresses and strains that we put our lower limbs through and how Podiatrists can, literally, help people get back on their feet. These days, Lauren likes to go dog walking and to go to the gym. Ensuring that our clients experience the personal touch and with her charming Scottish accent, Lauren is enjoying getting to know our patients and takes great pride in her work and the satisfaction of our patients walking out of the treatment room as though they are walking on air.

As Lauren has recently re-located, she is enjoying getting to know the Hampshire and Dorset areas and all that the New Forest area and the beaches have to offer.

Lauren McSkimming – Podiatrist  BSc (Hons), MRCPod, HCPC Registered

Jennifer qualified as a Foot Health Professional with The SMAE Institute in September 2022.

She is passionate about foot health following a career in elderly dementia care. Having seen the importance of regular foot care treatments with the residences in which she worked, Jennifer took the opportunity to re-train in order to support patient’s foot health needs as well as their general health and well being.

Jennifer joined our team in January 2023 and she is really enjoying both treating and getting to know our patients. In addition, she is also continuing with her further educational studies in order to further develop her knowledge and skills.

A local girl, Jennifer grew up in the New Forest area - with her family having a farming background as well as owning New Forest ponies.

In Jennifer’s spare time she has a husband, two children and a dog keeping her both very active and entertained.
